ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Gyan Consulting is committed to making our website accessible to any person with disabilities that may impair their ability to use the site. We follow Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) published by the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Accessibility Initiative (W3C WAI).

Gyan Consulting has been working to increase the accessibility of its sites. In order to meet this goal, new pages must include:

  • an invisible link that allows users to skip navigation links in order to get quickly to the main content of the page;

  • proper markup for identifying the page title (i.e., a <h1> tag);

  • WAI-ARIA landmarks for application, banner, navigation, search, complementary, content info, document, form, and region sections of the page.

We test our new content management applications using automated tools and manual procedures. Our publicly available pages on Gyan Consulting are monitored regularly by an automated tool.

Gyan Consulting strives to create Web sites that are accessible to people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the accessibility of our Web sites, and if you encounter an accessibility problem while using a Gyan Consulting site, please contact us about that problem using the Contact link on the affected page.
