Common Questions

Is the Operations Fit Call a software sales call?

No. The fit call is a practical business conversation, not a software pitch. We first understand your workflows, reporting, systems, data, priorities, and goals. The right next step may be advisory support, process improvement, better use of existing tools, reporting improvement, workflow redesign, technology implementation, or no large project at all.

Do we need an operational review before working with Gyan?

Not always. An operational review is useful when the best next step needs more clarity across workflows, teams, systems, reporting, or decision points. If your team already knows what needs to be built, integrated, automated, or improved, we can discuss a defined Technology & AI Implementation engagement directly.

What happens after the first call?

After the first conversation, we help clarify which path makes sense: Operational Advisory, Technology & AI Implementation, or a combined engagement. Before any work starts, we define the scope, expected outcomes, responsibilities, and practical next steps so your team understands what will be reviewed, improved, implemented, or supported.

What is included in Operational Advisory?

Operational Advisory can include workflow review, process improvement, governance, accountability design, reporting improvement, systems optimization, tool evaluation, vendor selection support, and implementation planning. The goal is to help your team clarify the right improvement path before major process or technology decisions are made.

What is included in Technology & AI Implementation?

Technology & AI Implementation can include custom software, portals, dashboards, APIs, system integrations, workflow automation, data alignment, ERP/QMS/LIMS support, AI readiness, AI governance, and AI-enabled applications. This work may follow advisory, or it may start directly when the technical requirement is already clear.

Will Gyan always recommend custom software?

No. Custom software is recommended only when it fits the business need. Many opportunities can be addressed by improving a process, redesigning workflows, configuring existing tools, improving reporting, connecting systems, or selecting a better platform. We do not treat every operational need as a software project.

How does Gyan decide the right engagement path?

We look at the business needs first. If the next step requires more clarity, advisory may be the right starting point. If the requirement is already defined, implementation may be the right path. If the work involves both workflow and technology, we may recommend a combined engagement with clear scope and separate delivery stages.

What industries do Gyan mostly support?

Gyan supports mid-sized teams across health and life sciences, manufacturing, professional services, facilities and field services, ecommerce, distribution, and other operations-heavy environments. The common focus is workflow clarity, reporting visibility, system alignment, automation readiness, and better decision support.
